Artists - Joanne Rose
Joanne Rose is a new artist with Greetings from Newfoundland Ltd. She has been selling original works in acrylics on canvas since 2001. She launched her limited edition reproductions with the giclee “Back from the Brook”. Joanne is a Newfoundland artist and credits her initial training to Lloyd Pretty. Well familiar with the nooks and crannies of Western and Central Newfoundland, Joanne often chooses to illustrate the simple but traditional beauty found in each day. Her subject matter often reflects her fondness for depicting the traditional coastal scenes and capturing quiet moments. Her original works include Poppy Jacks Wharf, Tranquil Waters, Morning Breaks, Saltwater Joy and many more. Joanne lives in Stephenville with her husband and children, but spends summers on the ocean in Kings Point, Green Bay.
